Mercy Outreach was founded in 1996 by Dmytro Kucher as a church-based ministry of Christ the Savior Church in Lutsk, Ukraine. It was organized with a goal to mobilize support for local orphans, widows and handicapped people who are living in dire need. This ministry soon grew to reach people living in the surrounding cities and villages. As generous people join efforts in this ministry, we believe God will expand this ministry to many more communities in different countries.
